Apple TV+ has just released the trailer for the much-awaited third season of the acclaimed series “Stillwater,” set to hit screens globally on May 19.
Meet the Cast and Characters
The series, recognized with both Peabody and Daytime Emmy Awards, revolves around the lives of three siblings, Karl (voiced by Judah Mackey), Addy (Eva Ariel Binder), and Michael (Tucker Chandler). The trio faces a range of challenges, from the mundane to the daunting, that can often seem overwhelming. They have a powerful ally, however, in their neighbor Stillwater (James Sie), a wise panda who, through his stories, humor, and wisdom, imparts mindfulness lessons to the children, helping them better understand their feelings and navigate life’s challenges.
The Backstory
Based on Jon J Muth’s bestselling Scholastic “Zen” book series, the production of “Stillwater” is a collaborative effort by Gaumont and Scholastic Entertainment, under the executive production of Sidonie Dumas, Christophe Riandee, Nicolas Atlan, Terry Kalagian, Iole Lucchese, Caitlin Friedman, Jef Kaminsky, Jun Falkenstein, and Rob Hoegee. The series features voice talent from James Sie, Binder, Chandler, and Mackey.
Collaboration with Mallika Chopra
The series was produced in partnership with Mallika Chopra, CEO of Chopra Global, author of “Buddha and The Rose” and the “Just Be” series for children. The collaboration occurred under the umbrella of the Apple TV+’s changemakers initiative.
