Star-studded Apple Original series from creators Reggie Rock Bythewood, Kevin Durant, and Brian Grazer gears up for its second act on June 23
Apple TV+ is ready to capture viewers’ attention once again with the release of the season two trailer for its critically acclaimed sports drama, “Swagger.” Brought to life by the creative genius of Reggie Rock Bythewood, and inspired by the life experiences of NBA superstar Kevin Durant, the series is set to make its global debut with the first episode on Friday, June 23, 2023. Subsequent episodes will air every Friday through August 11 exclusively on Apple TV+.

A Tribeca Film Festival Selection
Set to premiere at the 2023 Tribeca Film Festival on Saturday, June 17, “Swagger” stands tall as one of ten TV selections for this year’s festival, a platform known for its celebration of diverse storytelling. The show’s cast and Bythewood himself are expected to grace the festival.

Season Two: More Than Just a Game
The upcoming season introduces us to Jace, Phil, Nick, Musa, Drew, and Royale as they step into their senior year of high school and into the world of high-stakes basketball at Cedar Cove Prep. With the guidance of Athletic Director Emory Lawson and the backing of Gladiator Sneakers’ Alonzo Powers, they find themselves under intense scrutiny as they strive for a national high school championship. However, a scandalous video threatens to derail their dreams and test their brotherhood.

Returning and New Faces
The series features the return of O’Shea Jackson Jr., Isaiah Hill, Shinelle Azoroh, Academy Award nominee Quvenzhané Wallis, and other familiar faces. Orlando Jones and Shannon Brown join the cast, adding to the ensemble’s strength.
