Apple TV+ has once again created a buzz, unveiling the much-anticipated trailer for the second season of its popular murder mystery comedy series, “The Afterparty”. Created by Academy Award winners Chris Miller and Phil Lord, the show has seen international acclaim and developed a solid fan base, eagerly awaiting the release. Accordingly, this new season will debut globally on July 12, 2023.

This season, viewers will be treated to the return of stars like Tiffany Haddish, Sam Richardson, and Zoë Chao. With season two, fans can expect a new mystery, new characters, and more riveting episodes.
In this upcoming season, a wedding party turns disastrous when the groom is found murdered. Consequently, every guest becomes a suspect, and Detective Danner (played by Haddish) returns to solve the mystery with the help of Aniq (Richardson) and Zoë (Chao). As the story unfolds, the audience gets a peek into each suspect’s retelling of the weekend, each presented with their unique perspective and visual style.
A Powerhouse Team Behind the Scenes
“The Afterparty” is produced for Apple TV+ by TriStar TV and Sony Pictures Television as part of Lord and Miller’s extensive five-year overall television deal. Season two will be co-showrun by Miller and Tony and Emmy-nominated writer, producer, and performer Anthony King, both of whom also serve as executive producers.
The release schedule promises fans a thrilling summer, with the first two episodes premiering on July 12, followed by a new episode every Wednesday until September 6, 2023.
