In a recent move aimed at bolstering workforce development efforts statewide, the Healey-Driscoll Administration named Molly Jacobson as the President and Chief Executive Officer of Commonwealth Corporation. Previously, Jacobson served as a Partner in the Public Sector practice of Boston Consulting Group. During her tenure there, she significantly influenced economic and workforce development projects throughout the state. Consequently, her selection came after a thorough search process.

Unanimous Board Approval for Molly Jacobson
The Commonwealth Corporation Board of Directors, chaired by Executive Office of Labor and Workforce Development (EOLWD) Secretary Lauren Jones, held a meeting earlier this month. During this gathering, they unanimously voted to bring Jacobson onboard. This decision was based not only on her vast experience but also on her proven track record of enhancing workforce development programs and collaborations in Massachusetts.

Furthermore, Jacobson possesses an impressive educational background, holding a Masters in Public Policy from the Harvard John F. Kennedy School of Government. She also earned a Masters in Business Administration from Harvard Business School.
